According to the official website of China Mobile, Guizhou Mobile recently announced the procurement results of smart gateway (simple version) in 2022. Six companies were on the shortlist, including China Mobile Terminal, Youhua Technology, Zhaoeng Xuntong and Fujian Star Network.

According to the bidding announcement, Guizhou Mobile has purchased 1,260,000 units of ordinary smart gateway (simple version) and gigabit smart gateway (simple version), both of which are WIFI and voice free versions. The general budget of the project is 211.56 million yuan (excluding tax), and the tax budget amount is 239.062 million Yuan.

In addition, Guizhou Mobile said that this version of the gateway is in line with the market plan, which can realize the photoelectric signal conversion at the end of the network, and meet the basic Internet access function of users. The differences between the ordinary smart gateway and gigabit gateway are as follows:

(1) The uplink rate of the gateway is different. The uplink rate of the ordinary smart gateway is 1.25Gbps, while that of the Gigabit gateway is 2.5Gbps.

(2) Ordinary smart gateway is mainly applied to urban, township and rural users, while 10GPON gateway is mainly used in urban and developed townships.
